CIC has been busy working on a new webinar series to highlight some new innovations and exciting additions to our background screening software that we hope to roll out in the first half of 2021. We are always looking for new and helpful ways to make your job easier and keep you informed about changes in the screening industry ...
New Webinar Series: Simple Solutions to Background Screening
We are launching a new webinar series on solutions to background screening with Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Kristy Dutton.
CIC's Simple Solutions to Background Screening will provide an overview of our screening software and go over some of the basics during the morning sessions, with an in-depth look at some of the time saving features available during the afternoon sessions.
Current items to be covered include:
- Electronic I-9
- E-Verify
- Drug Testing
- Applicant Invitations
- Software Integration Capabilities
HRIS / Payroll Integrations
Our software is continually being tweaked to make things easier for you and to give your applicants the best experience. In addition, we are continually adding integrations with HRIS and Payroll software.
CIC’s open API (Application Programming Interface) allows for integration with virtually any HRIS or data vendor. Our XML specifications can be provided free of charge to your HRIS or Payroll providers so that they can easily build to our API.
Once accomplished, your HRIS/Payroll services and our background screening services are merged with our online portal, providing you with a cost-saving solution where information can easily flow between systems.
If you are considering a new payroll or HRIS system, please contact us and we will coordinate with our software provider to see how we can help you in this process.
Compliance Corner
We are still seeing some compliance issues and questions involving the Adverse Action process. Remember that both of the Adverse Action Notices are built into the screening software. You can simply download it along with the completed report (which has a copy of the FCRA Summary attached to it) and either mail or email it to your candidate.
Since we have been experiencing delays in USPS service recently, our suggestion is that you use both options so that the candidate will receive the letters in a more timely fashion.
If you have questions about the Adverse Action process, please contact CIC and we will be happy to answer your questions and walk you through the process.
Remember that many useful documents are either built into the system or available to you in the Docs & Forms section of our screening software.
